Heart of Biddeford, along with the support of amazing partners and sponsors, is working to make the 2022 River Jam Festival the best celebration of life on the Saco River!

Main Street between Washington and Alfred, Biddeford, ME
Always free and open to the public, this arts festival invites unfettered expression. Ecologically, edges are where diversity meets to make new things possible. Traditionally “Fringe” at art festivals across the world, elevates those at the margins, welcomes the otherwise unwelcomed, and support artists and projects “out of the main stream”.
So we set our evening on Main Street, and invite folks of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to our our creative community together to share, make, and create together. Come listen! share! move! reflect! make something with your hands! meet a new neighbor or friend! and reconnect the power of arts and gathering together to inspire our belonging and hope for our collective futures.

All events are free and open to the public! Start the day at 11 am with live music, dance performances and kid’s activities. Slide down the Purple Rush water slide, meet a dinosaur and race your best friend in the potato sack races!!
Browse local vendors and meet some amazing community groups! Biddeford Cultural & Heritage Center has coordinated a Cultural Cuisine tent with free tastes from Biddeford’s diverse communities or buy delicious crepes from La Kermesse’s La Cuisine. Take a horse drawn wagon ride to try a boat at Rumery’s Boat Yard or buy a ticket for a Saco River cruise! Enjoy all this while listening to amazing bands on the Main Stage.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the evening in Mechanics Park features popular Maine bands, several food trucks, and local brews/wines in the Beer & Wine Garden. The night culminates with fireworks at 9:15 p.m.!
